Playing multiplayer games without some asshole spoiling your fun is rather difficult, as I am sure many of us know. While it is not possible to completely eliminate their presence, the community facilities (I like to pretend we’re a fortress) were set up so that we can have a safe space for discussion and, of course, the playing of multiplayer games.
The scheduled gaming sessions went off to quite a good start. By now, everyone likely have found someone else to play with. With no newcomers in the past weeks, attendance have stagnated. What this means is that the sessions are no longer serving the community as well as before.
Oh no, we are not stopping Community Tuesdays. No newbies now does not mean no newbies later. What we are looking for are ways to make it more relevant, and since this is for the community, the obvious thing is to ask you what changes you would like to see. Game suggestions? Scheduling for games on platforms which aren’t the PC? Guild events? Online PnP RPG campaigns? Corbiu Geisha switching to a friendlier avatar? Something obvious which I missed? No such thing as a silly idea!
Is anyone playing Mass Effect multiplayer on the Xbox in my timezone or thereabouts? (CET, UTC+1) I’d rather not ask on the Steam group of all places ^^;;;

I’m partial to ye olde Pathfinder and Traveller systems, personally, but I’ve got a bunch of other books lying around. I think the Song of Ice and Fire RPG has some interesting mechanics that could be fun if adapted to a custom game sett- wait, that’s irrelevant.

I’ve always wanted to join you folks in game, but I have yet to have a game that you are all playing or a way to play it online (no online membership for my xbox). More games in the mix is all I can suggest.
Speaking as what I suppose is a newbie, scheduling has been my trouble. That and not having a lot of the relevant games. That being said, I’d love a PnP RPG online.
I’m happy to play any of the few multiplayer games I have on Steam (Malice) at whatever random times I happen to be online for a while.

if folks are looking to help develop a positive community around gaming, my guild actually has a forum set up for precisely that. doesn’t matter the game or medium. right now its small since there’s only two of us, but with more interest we’re hoping to get the ball rolling and have an overall safe hub where people can talk about what interests them and what ails them. that way folks could create their own discussions and threads, and talk amongst themselves while still connecting through games.

I’ve just gotten in to League of Legends and would love like minded people to play with. I got called some sexist slurs in game awhile ago and haven’t felt up to going back, so it would be really awesome to have “safe” people to group with where I don’t have to worry about that.
