There was a lot of talk about talk amongst all the TBH contributors and editors. We had heard that you wanted more interviews where we talk about games with some of the awesome people who make them. Welcome to the first of The Border House Interviews!
A woman with glasses, and some visible purple highlights in her hair who just so happens to be Michelle Lyons-McFarland.
First on the list is Michelle Lyons-McFarland, someone who has been working in the pen and paper industry for a long time. She started out working as an editor for FASA, and then moved on to writing for their product lines like Shadowrun. She’s worked for a wide range of people in the industry from Wizards of the Coast to White Wolf to her own start up company called Play Attention Games that she started with her husband Matt McFarland. In this podcast we talked about how she got started in the industry, what her favourite games are, and what’s coming from her in the future.
